3D Award Winning work – “Broken Bridge”
This piece of work has left a deep impression in my mind after I have finished it.I got the inspiration for making this piece after I had seen a bridge constructed of bricks, steel beam, and steel sections, which was built in 1905 by Japanese engineers in Taiwan. I had learned also that this particular bridge was damaged by earthquake in 1935. What I had in mind was to capture the elegant shape of the broken bridge, and trying to integrate two kinds of motives, one is to express a sense of nostalgia and the other is to preserve a memorable scene.
